Formed in 2019, the Luiz Morais and Ariel Gragnani Duo brings a unique, fresh and exquisite take on instrumental guitar music. With a sophisticated repertoire of Jazz and Classical tunes, with a strong Latin flavour, the Duo presents a highly evocative performance combining exciting rhythms, alluring melodies, virtuosity and colour.  Their repertoire includes well-loved classics of the Brazilian MPB genre, such as choro and bossa nova, as well as classical standards and original compositions. 

Ariel Gragnani received his Undergraduate and Masters of Performance from the Royal College of Music, graduated with distinction and claimed first prize in the 2013 Royal College of Music Guitar Competition. Ariel enjoys a unique career, performing solo on the classical guitar as well as in ensembles, playing traditional Brazilian music, latin, jazz and blues.  Ariel is also a very dedicated music educator.
